NBH: UNDP NextGen.Ke - Information Session
EuroCham founding member, the Netherlands Business Hub Kenya (NBH), is hosting an information session in partnership with UNDP on the NextGen.Ke Programme. The NextGen.Ke Programme is UNDP Kenya's flagship response to one of the country's most pressing development challenges: youth unemployment.
The NextGen.Ke Programme, designed in close partnership with the government and the private sector, seeks to create conditions that boost youth employment through meaningful opportunities that address skills gaps, provide workplace exposure, and on-the-job learning for young Kenyans.
Through two complementary pathways, 1) paid graduate internship pathway and 2) public works and skills pathway, the programme aims to support over 15,000 youth over the next three years.
Together, these pathways are designed to deliver immediate employment impacts, build relevant skills, and support a more inclusive transition of young people into the labour market.
